A few times in my collecting I will receive an item in very bad condition. I strive for all of my items to be in the best condition possible, so this means restoring them. This page details the figures I have restored and the process involved. I have also included a tutorial at the end of this page.

Zukan figure
For some reason the figures I received that needed the most restoring are the rarest ones. This zukan is over ten years old and was in used condition. it looks like it was thrown in a bin or played with. As a result it had a lot of dirt marks and paint rubs. I scrubbed it down heavily and repainted some of the tips of the toes where they had been chipped.
Trading figure
This figure was such awful condition, when I received it I did not know if I would be able to fix it. It was covered in glue and dirty, and the flower was broken off and bent. This figure is so rare though, I was determined to restore it to its former glory. Thankfully, this was not the first TFG Venusaur I had received.
I soaked it, scrubbed it, scratched it with a tool to get all the gunk off. There was excess glue in the flower stalk that I had to carve out with an exacto. After I got the glue out the flower was a perfect fit, and I glued it back in. I used a heat gun to pose the bent petal back into place. After all that I had to go back and repaint some small areas that had been scratched off. The entire process took over an hour. It was very satisfying to get it back to the condition it is now.
